Reach150, the leader in Referral Management for relationship businesses is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer. You are the kind of person who loves a holistic approach to websites, bringing server and web client together into beautiful harmony.

Your role…

  • You’ll be a core team member building an easy-to-use platform that uses the best concepts from social networking, online recommendations, and advertising for a non-technical audience of business professionals.
  • You'll work with Product Designers, Product Managers and fellow developers to build both client web and mobile components.
  • You'll be working across the team, bringing everyone's specializations together into a final product.
  • Rapidly develop new features without sacrificing quality.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a rapidly growing startup, has experience in the world of online recommendations, ad serving technology, social networking, and the like, and finally someone who wants to have some fun while putting in the hours to do what it takes to help the company become even more successful.

Additionally, if you meet or exceed these requirements, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS, JQuery, Backbone, or Twitter Bootstrap.
  • Experience developing hybrid mobile applications using PhoneGap or Ionic.
  • Experience with cross device development and testing on iOS and Android.
  • Expert knowledge of HTML(5), CSS(3) JavaScript, AJAX, JSON and XML.
  • Dynamic CSS technologies such as Sass or LESS.
  • Possesses passion and an advanced level of knowledge of web and mobile UI/UX with experience translating complex requirements into actual customer experience.
  • Good understanding of cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility issues. Adherence to web standards and best practices.
  • Experience developing web and mobile applications using responsive design.
  • Professional Programming Experience in Java, ideally using MVC frameworks such as Spring or Struts.
  • Experience with test driven development and a focus on delivering quality software.
  • Embrace the agile development process and lean startup approach, grounded in metrics.
  • Experience (3+ years) as a software engineer building large-scale web applications.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Physics, or related field from a leading institution

Desirable Skills...

  • Hands-on experience with server-side Java-based frameworks: Struts, Spring and Hibernate.
  • Strong opinions about what well designed RESTful APIs should look like.
  • Experience with websites that require thoughtful SEO implementation.
  • Social APIs - YouTube, Google, Facebook, Twitter.
  • Ability and desire to stay up to date with modern development practices and trends but exercises good judgement on when to implement them.

Real Estate and Sales experience are a plus, but the most important thing is dedication and drive to promote a differentiating technology.

If you are eager to prove yourself, learn about software sales, and have an appetite for a startup adventure, we’d love to hear from you.

Your role…

  • You will be setting up face to face appointments with Real Estate professionals and others in Relationship businesses
  • You’ll be demonstrating our product via demo and closing deals
  • You'll work with Product Team, Engineering, Customer Success, as well as regularly interact with the CEO and Founder.
